Pretty good.

Keeps the tempo up all the way through the song and there's no big shifts so I can defiantly see this being used in an action game that has just that solid, unshifting action element.

I still am trying to figure out what that name if supposed to stand for though ;P The first thing that came to my mind was portal but that's not related =O.

Overload of happy

I've had this on loop since you sent the link to me on MSN. Extraordinary feeling in this peace. It makes me want to do irrational things like put this music to the most depressing video I can find for the LOL COMEDY effect. ;P

Waterflame responds:

Haha thanks :D yeah it really is overly happy huh? its that kinda happy that makes you even happyer if youre feeling ok, but makes you irritated if youre too far down. XD really glad you liked it man! :D thank you! :)

heheh..

"Dude! YOU WON!"

Actually you just made my lose.... the game

Which you just lost too =P

Good ending fanfare though, I'll use it if it fits in with the rest of my audio style.

haha, sweet! Thanks for the review!

Very cool style

I like it, the style is flavored unlike anything else i've really heard before. I like it though. Make more like this =)

Wow

I don't even play left for dead and I can imagine this is even sweeter if you can place all the sound clips.

I never noticed a sound clip that seemed even slightly out of place or didn't fit with the song. My only complaint is that it doesn't loop =/. That's superficial, though.

Hmmmm...

I'm sure there was some sort of message hidden in this song but I can't quite grasp it.

Perhaps you should have made it more blatant!

Just kidding, the in-your-face aspect worked well for it =D. Not something I'd show to my friends tho. They'd just look at me weird XD

I love the music

I love the instruments, your voice and the synthesis of them... But I always feel like the voice is just another instrument and doesn't really infer meaning readily. When read like a poem, the lyrics are fine (not spectacular, though) but when you're listening to the song, especially if you're listening to it casually, all meaning that the words have fades away. The first 3 lines are great, strong and follow well but when you start talking about the stars aligning, you just lose direction.

I hope you understand what I mean =O

Woah...

I swear, this reminds me of a couple of hania's pieces. The whole vocal tone and direction of the song.

It would be so very epic if you guys collabed ;P just saying ;P

Anyhow, good peice. I give it a 9 because I know you can do better and you could have defiantly expressed the story/message in a simpler way that doesn't require reading along with the lyrics to follow it.

Woah...

Listening to this with headphones is a serious experience.

It messes with your head and disorients you but... I like it XD It actually feels pretty addictive. Plus, it makes me want to do sideways head bobs XD

C-Enterprise responds:

LoL
Try listening to this thing with headphones everybody! ahah
Trippy experience granted.

Thanks for the review ;)

Very very nice peice

I really love this piece. It carries the distinctive flavor of final fantasy games.

How original is this? Did you borrow melodies, basic music constructs and stuff or did you just construct stuff in a very similar style with a similar flavor of instruments? I'm dying to know how you were able to emulate the style so well ;P

kelwynshade responds:

My inspiration for music generally starts with an instrument. Once I was able to construct a sound that struck me as familiar to an SNES key, I ran with it. This is as original as it gets. Sometimes things just fall into place and this particular track was one instance where the deeper I ran with it, the better it sounded.

In truth, I wish all my tracks fell into place as well as this one did.
