awesomeness

I loved how this song has both synths and a few of the classical instruments thrown into the mix.

We need a new name for this genre mix! trancical? Clance? The both sound as le awesome as this song does =)

God dammit... somehow you made this sound happy carefree pirate while in the background making it sound like serious hardcore questing and have it fit together perfectly.

I love you. Have my babies <3

MaestroRage responds:

Trancia is actually pretty cool sounding. I think I have my new project name! Maybe Classence? oooh... Classence p_o.

Carefree pillaging!

"We be killin yur womens!"

"YAHR, DO THE DANCE!"

*pirates dance happily*

I could have your babies, but who's gonna go to the PTA meetings and explain THAT monstronsity?!

Thank you for the review, i'm glad you liked it :D!

Wooo!

You two are a killer combo! This is an amazing piece =O.

Her voice simply sets the mood so perfectly. It sounds soooo good >.<

I think I hear some words close to the end of the vocals. What are they?

Also, I would have added the vocals to the 2nd part. Having only instruments sounds sort of incomplete after hearing the 1st part.

MaestroRage responds:

Thanks Arby! She's a very talented singer, and i'm sure one day she will aspire to great heights. Then i'll be like "I tutelly knew her :D!"

As for the second part, that was just a little thing I did for the fun of it, she was actually the first to send me her voice and then working with that, cutting it up and such, I put the groundwork on it.

In any case, I do hope we do more projects together ^^

awesome

I love the melodies. Still eastwest? (I wish my DL would hurry up XD)

MaestroRage responds:

Nope, this is Grand VST, purely piano VST, rather large on RAM consumption, I can't use East West and this together :P.

Thank you for the review, glad you liked it ^^.

ha

fourty-two

MaestroRage responds:

YOU HAVE FORGOTTEN THE FACTOR OF ME!

It then becomes 43

The fact that rhymes, makes it true!

Thanks for the review ;).

oh, wow...

I can just picture it. Evil forces on either side, banging thier shields, yelling mightly war-cries, sacrificing maidens to thier evil gods. They're fighting for no reason too. They just wanna kill each other. You can see thier hands itching, holding thier axes tense. They'd kill thier own men if given half a chance. They'd kill anyone.

I can see exactly where you're going with this piece! Its like I can read your mind. =P

XDDDDD

MaestroRage responds:

you can READ my MIND!?!!?!?

I would highly advise you to take no more then ten minutes in there... others have tried... now they have a wing dedicated to me in the mental asylums around the world. They call it Teh Maestro Madness syndrome.

The image you present is one that is actually closer to what I had, not strangely enough others did not seem to see that image, and i'm perfectly fine with that. There is nothing better then seeing the different reactions and stories the same song invokes in the minds of those who listen to it.

In any case, thank you for the review! I'm glad you liked the track!

hahahaha....

am I the only one that finds is hilarious that you've been away for 6 months and still get 7 reviews on the first day your song gets out? XD

pretty sweet song. its raving =P

B0UNC3 responds:

Hehe thanks for your reviews everyone, now i feel kinda bad that i gave you all the super short myspace demo...If you want me to upload a 4 mb version just holla ;D Or i can upload the full track onto my myspace.

Greetz

omg

I love it.

the instuments go well togeather. How do you come up with this stuff anyways? 0.o

is it just play till something sounds good or do you envision what you're gonna make beforehand?

MaestroRage responds:

Hmmm, well every piece I create, is always created with an image, or an idea, or an emotion I want to emulate. This one in particular did have a story to it, and it's a rather lengthy one at that, which would explain why it does change around the way it does.

If by envision you mean envision what the song will sound like, that is surprisingly a skill I have learned only a few months ago (pretty much at the beginning of this account), and even today sometimes something will turn out a bit unexpected or i'll decide to destroy one part to recreate it as something else.

Well thats the basics of it, i'm glad you liked the track, this one was a god damned pain in every pore in my body!

hmm

Gets the point accross really nicely. Whoevers getting married's f***ed XD

I would have liked a second organ in theres however. playing a fast support melody and overall increaseing the creepiness of it.

MaestroRage responds:

Believe me my good sir I tried! Oh how I tried! But the organ is a frequency munching monster like the choir, it just floats all over the place, eating up alot low and high end. It was either have only one organ, or understand nothing! I had to shed a tear and let the second organ go...

Oh well, maybe when i'm better at equalizing, I can put three... nay... FOUR organs together!

In any case, thank you for the review, i'm glad you liked the piece ^^.

awesome

The begining seems sort of awkward. but then later the rest of the instruments come in and it sounds great. Perhaps you could add a little more ambience panned left and I think that would fix it.

So, why DID you change accounts? =P

I lost track of you for a while.

MaestroRage responds:

Man, I have to put up a song explaining why I did what I did, heh, well here's the link explaining everything!

It's a fun read.

In any case, I agree with you. This song was a form of tribute to my old self, which had more random segments, and relied much more heavily on instinct over any form of rules and guides. I missed being able to fly without any form of restraining thoughts, and though that did damage the song, it was fun as hell to make. So there you have it.

Thank you for the review, i'm glad you liked it ^^.

Sweet

If this is a rushed peice of yours.... what are the unrushed ones like? =P

You dont have to answer that. We already know ;)

MilkMan-Dan responds:

haha... you should see my giant scrapyard of pieces I never finished.

no really... you should see it... you'll forever be changed.

Thanks for the review ;).
